The Sharpstar 0.85x 3" coma corrector is both a corrector and focal length reducer designed for full-frame imaging with Newtonian reflector telescopes open from F/3 to F/6 and with apertures from 8" (20 cm) to 32" (81 cm).
It offers outstanding performance for fast wide-field imaging and features flat-field performance at the edge of the field along with excellent colour correction. The use of this coma corrector/reducer can turn your Newtonian into a very fast optical system, ideal for wide-field imaging of the deep sky.
The Sharpstar 0.85x 3" coma corrector has an M82x1mm front thread for direct connection to the new SharpStar 3" focuser or any other instrument with the same thread. On the camera side there is an M76x1mm male thread, an M68x1mm female thread and an M54x0.75mm thread. The pull is 55 mm from the M54x0.75 mm thread stop.
