Weighing only 2kg for the head, the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTI-X Wi-Fi mount is the ultimate GOTO Wi-Fi motorised mount for those who have always wanted a stable, lightweight and compact mount to take with them on their constant search for dark skies far from light pollution, without giving up the convenience of Wi-Fi automatic pointing motorisation.

The maximum overall load capacity is 10kg if you choose to mount an optical tube on each side, and 6kg if only one optical tube is used. The versatility of the Sky-Watcher AZ-GTI-X mount's design will allow you to use even medium-sized tubes without encountering instability problems.

Thanks to the included Vixen-type L-bracket, it will be possible to simultaneously use a telescope, mounting it on one side of the mount's head, and an SLR or mirrorless camera to take wonderful pictures of celestial objects while observing visually. For those who wish to control their camera directly from their smartphone, the SNAP input is available (optional cable required). Taking series of shots, timelapses etc. will no longer be a problem.

The dual Freedom Find encoders mounted on the axes will allow you to manually point objects while always knowing the coordinates of the portion of the sky you are observing, ideal for night sky explorers who like to scan and plumb the depths of the sky without being constrained by motors and clutches.

Entirely controllable via Wi-Fi and the SynScan App, available free of charge in the respective stores for iOS and Android devices, you will have all the potential and features of the SynScan GoTo handhelds embedded in your smartphone: less clutter, greater ease of use and map and ephemeris updates always to the latest version available. Perform a quick alignment to one, two or three stars and you will have over 40000 objects to point at automatically and with very high precision. Simply power your mount with 12V batteries or external power supply, perform a simple alignment and the Servo DC motors will keep the objects you are observing, whether clusters, galaxies, the Moon or planets, always in the centre of your telescope's field.
