SkyWatcher Wave 100i EQ/AZ Harmonic Drive mount for astrophotography and observing equipped with harmonic gear drive. Equipped with dual Vixen/Losmandy mounts, ideal for supporting one or two medium-diameter optical tubes even simultaneously.

Weighing about 4 Kg, the SkyWatcher Wave 100i mount is equipped with a harmonic reducer transmission, ideal for supporting even heavy tubes without the need for counterweights.

The unique design allows two optical tubes to be attached simultaneously for incredible photography and observing sessions. This particular technique also increases the carrying capacity of the main optical tube by more than 30 percent.

With the new SkyWatcher Wave 100i mount, the new frontier of long exposure astrophotography is finally within everyone's reach. The special construction scheme of the harmonic motion gearboxes in the SkyWatcher Wave mounts makes it possible to maintain high compactness and, at the same time, to achieve a high load capacity even without counterweights: without counterweights it is possible to use the SkyWatcher Wave mount with optical tubes weighing up to 10 kg. When used with counterweight, however, the load capacity rises to about 15 kg.

The Harmonic Drive AR and DEC motors ensure smooth and backlash-free operation in addition to a high payload. The reduction on the AR and DEC axes is 300:1.

Minimalist design with attention to detail and with body made of AL6061 aluminum alloy machined with numerically controlled (CNC) machines.

Wired connectivity thanks to the USB-B port, RJ45 socket for connecting the SkyWatcher SynScan hand control, as well as the autoguider system with RJ12 port. Also equipped with SNAP connector for connecting cameras directly to the mount.

Additional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities ensure stable and easy-to-configure connectivity with almost all commercially available hardware and software devices, especially with the SkyWatcher SynScan Pro app for iOS and Android devices.

The SkyWatcher Wave mount requires 12 V for smooth operation, consuming about 0.4 A during tracking and up to 1.8 A during automatic pointing stages (GOTO).

Optical tube attachment is possible with both Losmandy/CGE and Vixen/CG5 type dovetail bars.

Completing the mount's rich functionality is the full AR axis lock to facilitate safe mounting of counterweights and the setting of the HOME position as well. The mount also features red LED illumination for the bubble level and latitude indicator for easy viewing in the dark.
