The 114mm diameter spherical mirror is the main part of Discovery Spark 114 EQ optics. The equatorial mount, complete with its slow-motion control and counterweight, enables you to point the telescope tube precisely at celestial bodies and track their motion smoothly.

The tripod is made of aluminum and is stable even on rough ground. There is an accessory tray in the middle where you can place the eyepieces and a Barlow lens. All of these come with the kit.
