ZWO presents the new version of the successful Harmonic Drive AM5 equatorial mount with a payload capacity extended to 15 kg without counterweights and 20 kg with counterweights!
The ZWO AM5N astrophotography mount weighs 5.5 Kg and carries telescopes up to 15 kg without counterweight. With the counterweight and counterweight bar (optional) the load capacity can be up to 20 kg.
The improvements do not stop there. The AM5N, compared to the previous AM5, also introduces:
- Simplified cable management: new USB-C port and 12V DC output
- Internal cabling designed to avoid kinks
- Guaranteed periodic error reduced to ± 10" per unit
- Operating temperature range down to -20° C
- Also supports connection via Bluetooth
Other useful features to know:
- Payload increased to 15 Kg (20 Kg with a counterweight installed).
- Operation from 0° to 90° latitude.
